Franz Joseph Haydn: Winter from "The Seasons"

As part of the annual Bard College Winter Songfest, join the Bard Conservatory Chamber Orchestra; Bard College Chamber Singers and Symphonic Chorus; and soloists Caroline Dunigan, Eric Finbarr Carey, and Nathaniel Sullivan in a performance of "Winter" from Haydn's oratorio The Seasons. The oratorio will be performed in English, using the 1973 translation by Alice Parker and Thomas Pyle. Other features of the program will include early and modern holiday carols, as well as additional seasonal selections performed by soloists from the Bard Graduate Vocal Arts Program and conducted by Maestro James Bagwell.
